Strawberry Cough Strain Information

Strawberry Cough is a legendary, award-winning sativa-dominant hybrid with an unmistakable flavor and aroma. A blend of Strawberry Fields and Haze, it's the brainchild of former High Times editor Kyle Kushman. Its bright green buds are cone-shaped and look like pretty little pinecones, with fiery, amber trichomes giving them a yellowish appearance. The buds have a unique trait of red pistils like a strawberry. The smell of Strawberry Cough is unmistakable - it delights the senses with a mouth-watering, fruity aroma, while also having a playful hint of peppery spice.

When smoked, the buds release an herbal cloud that is evocative of parent strain Haze. The first thing that you’ll notice about Strawberry Cough is part of how it got its name – the smell! This strain produces a buzzy and cerebral high that hits fast. While it may cause users to feel unsettled initially, it can produce a sharp focus that’s excellent for reading and other creative pursuits. The high from this strain also lasts longer than average, roughly 3 to 4 hours.

Medical Benefits

Strawberry Cough is great for treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, offering a boost of creativity and relief from anxiety and stress. Other users have also reported relief from painful migraines and less intense headaches. Medically, this strain is best taken in small doses, as it may induce paranoia when taken in high doses.
